SmartWords does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party trackers in the app.
Your saved words and settings are stored locally using iOS/Android's standard app storage, shared between the app and its home-screen widget. This data never leaves your device and is not visible to us.
The app fetches a small JSON file of that day's words from our server
(smartwords.cinch-pueblo235.workers.dev). These requests
contain only a date — no account identifiers, device identifiers, or
personal data — and our server does not log requests in a way that
identifies you.
If you enable daily word reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. We don't use a push notification service and don't know whether you have notifications enabled.
